Info : John SURTEES est absent, suite a un Accident le week-end dernier, dans une Course Canam remplacé par Pedro RODRIGUEZ....... Jim CLARK sort de la Piste le vendredi, endommageant la Voiture de son coéquipier, meilleur temps de Graham HILL....... Essais du samedi : Moteur cassé pour CLARK qui dût se rabattre sur le 16 soupapes pour ce qualifier. Pôle de HILL et CLARK partira avec son moteur 32 soupapes réparé...
Course : HILL part en tête et de bout en bout sauf un tête-à -queue où Jack BRABHAM prit le commandement un moment.... Abandon de Mike SPENCE au 9ème Tour, moteur et de Innes IRELAND malade grippé... CLARK 2ème cassa une soupape de son moteur et Abandonne au 11ème Tour et Bruce McLAREN sur pression d'huile dans ce même Tour... Jackie STEWART en tentant de doubler la HONDA de Richie GINTHER, sort de la Piste et fausse sa suspension, il Abandonnera au 12ème Tour..... La pluie arrive, les BRABHAM remontent fort grâce a leurs pneumatiques, HILL fait même un tête-à -queue avant de retrouver la tête pour ne plus l'a lâcher doublant BRABHAM qui lui aussi avait fait un tête - à - queue.... Poussé par son Stand, RODRIGUEZ attaque au maximum pour doubler Jochen RINDT et finir derrière Lorenzo BANDINI....
