Début de Ronnie PETERSON. Les temps des qualifications sont bizarres car la grille est limitée a 16 places et les pilotes d'usines sont qualifiés d'office...ouais, pas sympa. Pôle de Jackie STEWART, Meilleur Tour et Victoire de Jochen RINDT. Jack BRABHAM alors en tête offre la Victoire a RINDT dans le dernier virage en ratant son freinage, un beau cadeau....
