Nouveau tracé. Retour de Niki LAUDA. 1er Pôle de Jacques LAFFITE et d'une LIGIER mais Meilleur Tour et Victoire pour Ronnie PETERSON. Jody SCHECKTER mène la course au début, puis menacé par Patrick DEPAILLER avant sa chute de puissance, PETERSON profitant des averses, réussit a garder l'avantage sur Clay REGAZZONI, LAUDA lui, dut êtres très courageux pour finir malgré son état......
