Les MASERATI ce rapprochent....... Course : Malgré la Pôle de Juan Manuel FANGIO et Alberto ASCARI qui faillit caler sur la Grille c'est José-Froilan GONZALEZ qui part en tête mais après 11 Tours il doit Abandonner, casse moteur, il est ramené au Stand par la police BELGE en Range Rover par la Piste du Circuit puis retourne a sa Place a contresens... FANGIO lui aussi casse son Moteur 2 Tour plus tard au 13ème et reprends la Voiture de Johnny CLAES..... Abandon de Guiseppe FARINA au 16ème Tour qui donne la place a Mike HAWTHORN derrière ASCARI mais fuite de carburant alors il Ravitaille, FANGIO remonte jusqu'à la 3ème Place mais dans le dernier Tour au 35ème il sort de la Piste et finit la course dans une ambulance, commotionné..... Abandon de André LEGAT, au 1er Tour, transmission de Georges BERGER au 4ème Tour, moteur comme Peter COLLINS, embrayage de Jean BEHRA au 8ème Tour, joint de culasse, Lance MACKLIN au 20ème Tour, moteur....
